Shawna is a former model that has worked for fashion icons like Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Joseph Aboud, St. John and has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show with Cindy Crawford. She has been featured in Coca-Cola, Coors Light and Macy's commercials. She ran track and field in high school and especially loves long distance running completing the San Francisco Marathon. She has coordinated and trained a team that finished strong in the San Francisco Spartan race at AT&T Park.
With this background, she understands the importance of fitness and proper nutrition to look and feel good in order to perform at the highest level. As a mother of 3 and Owner of Westside Fitness, Shawna continues to stay fit and evolve through continuous education and training.

FUN FACT: Shawna played the trombone in Concert, Pep and Jazz band growing up and played alongside Doc Severinsen in a couple of summer concerts in high school.
Patrick first began competing in boxing at the age of 16. Along the way he compiled an impressive record of 64-12, winning 3 Golden Glove Championships, and 2 BCR World Amateur Championships. He has trained and fought across the nation as well as in Europe.
Patrick Ragan established Westside Boxing Club in 2005. As the only boxing gym in San Mateo at the time, his love for the sport of boxing helped to pioneer and open the door for a new generation of boxers here in San Mateo.
Patrick was selected and served as the Head Coach for two consecutive years, 2008 and 2009, for the USA National Championships at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Patrick is certified by USA Boxing as a Level II Coach. He is also licensed by the California State Athletic Commission as a manager and coach.
Since opening the doors to WBC he has produced the Silver and Bronze Medalists at the 2008 Olympic Trials, the Bronze Medalist at the 2009 National Golden Gloves Championships, The Bronze Medalist at the 2010 USA National Championships, 4 boxers ranked in the 10 by USA Boxing, over 20 local, regional or state Golden Glove Champions along with 8 PAL State Champions and 4 BCR World Champions.
Over the years Patrick has trained many top models, musicians and corporate executives. Patrick's passion is boxing and fitness. He produces great results for our community of members here at Westside Fitness.
FUN FACT: Patrick once saved Lauren Hutton's life on an episode of Falcon Crest. Seriously! He played a San Francisco Police Officer.
MichelleHarger is a Certified Personal Trainer who has received certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI). She is also a Level 1 USA Weightlifting Coach, a Qualified TRX Instructor, a SCW Group Fitness Instructor, a Bootcamp Instructor and an Obstacle Course Race Coach.
Her goal as a personal trainer & fitness instructor is to help others become fit, improve their quality of life and reach their fitness goals. She is committed to educating and motivating people of all ages to live healthy, active lifestyles. Michelle creates customized exercise plans for her clients based on their fitness goals and physical fitness level. She designs efficient, challenging and fun workout plans that help keep her clients motivated, on track and push past their plateaus. Michelle aims to empower her clients to reach their full fitness potential through movement and physical activity. Whether you are looking to get fit, lose weight, get stronger, train for a Tough Mudder or Spartan Race, she can help you achieve your goals.
On a personal note, Michelle is a Bay Area native. She was born in San Francisco and grew up in Pacifica, CA. She graduated from San Francisco State with a Bachelor of Arts in Family and Consumer Science with a core emphasis in Nutrition. Michelle now lives in San Mateo, with her husband and three children. She is an active member in her community and has volunteered as both a softball and soccer coach to her children’s teams. Recently, Michelle volunteered as a Conditioning Coach to her daughter’s softball team and is currently a Board Member for the San Mateo National Little League. Michelle is always looking for ways to challenge her own fitness level and has completed several Half Marathons, completed three Tough Mudders, an Urbanathalon and two Spartan Races. In 2019, Michelle plans to complete a Spartan Trifecta and is looking to build a team that will cross the finish lines with her.
